Happy Friday my friends!
How is your week going? It`s finally Friday here, which means it is the end of a very long week with snow, rain, wind and cold weather here. I am glad that the weekend is getting closer, even though I don`t have anything planned (yet!).
I realized that it has been a while since my last Friday favorites post, so here we are, with 5 of my favorites of the last few weeks:
1-LA ROCHE POSAY EYE MAKEUP REMOVER (AMAZON, $ 19.00):
I have been looking for an eye makeup remover because I noticed that the micellar waters I was using did not clean my eyes enough, there was always some mascara or eye pencil left and I did not like them. I tried some makeup removers but I never liked them: they were too oily, or they burned my eyes… But then I found this and I am loving it so far: it is not oily, it removes all of the eye makeup and it doesn`t burn! I think I found a product that I like!
2-ESSIE GEL COUTURE NAIL POLISH IN PRE SHOW JITTERS
I already talked to you about these Essie gel nail polishes, so I don`t want to repeat myself over and over, but they are great, they last so long. I love this color, it is a very pale pink, almost white. It is clean and classy according to me and it would be perfect for Spring, if only Spring came here too!!
3-KIEHL`S ALOE VERA ND OATLMEAL HAND AND BODY LOTION ($ 22.00)
I just finished a big bottle of this lotion, it wasn’t the first one I purchased because I love it so much that I always have it at home and I alternate it with my other lotions. It is light and absorbs quickly but it is still hydrating, I used it almost for all the winter and I felt it worked. I love the smell, because it is not too strong but leaves the skin smelling nice and fresh for a long time. I will have to buy a new bottle soon!
4-CHLOE EAU THE TOILETTE
Perfume is something that I always wear, but it has to be the right one, because if it is too strong, it will give me a headache. This is by far my favorite perfume, I haven`t found one that I like more than this so far. I will have other perfumes at home which I will use, but I always have to have this from Chloe at home because it has been my favorite for the last 2 or 3 years and I still love it. It smells a lot like rose and flowers and although I don`t smell it on myself anymore, if I happen to get a whiff of it on one of my sweaters or in the car, it makes me so happy. I always use it when I am having an off start of the day or if I am not feeling very happy, it is like a comfort to me. The only tricky thing is to find the eau the toilette because Chloe has many other perfumes, so if you want to try it, you have to be careful to ready very well the label. I also want to try the eau the parfum and the Roses de Chloe, which I think I might like.
5-QUEEN HELENE MINT JULEP MASQUE (AMAZON,$ 6.61):
As you already know, I like to make masks at least once or twice a week. I tried this mask, which is very affordable and easy to find and I have to say that I really like it. It is easy to apply, it smells like mint, so it is very refreshing, you don`t have to keep it on your face for too long (I think that 5-10 minutes are enough) and it washes away pretty easily. I feel like it cleans my skin but it is not too strong, sometimes purifying masks will make my skin all red, but this doesn`t, even if I don`t wash it after 10 minutes, it is very delicate.
