I hope that you are doing well and are enjoying this beautiful weather! Here in New England in the last couple days it has been so nice and sunny, I can`t even believe it! It is always amazing to me how much better I feel when I see the sun shining when I wake up in the morning!

I hope that you are having a great week and if not, don`t worry, the weekend is getting closer and closer! We had a nice, busy week. In the last four weeks Aurora has been taking horseback riding classes and yesterday was the last one. I loved being able to go with her and watching her, I love horses and I asked so many questions about them to the instructor, because I don`t know much about those beautiful animals. I also started the registration for Kindergarten for Alessandro and Leonardo for next year, I have been so busy filling papers and looking for documents to complete the registration, that I haven`t stopped to think what it really means. My boys are getting older and I know I will be VERY emotional when they stop going to their daycare and start going to the “big kids school“!

We had a very nice weekend las week, on Saturday we went for the first time to a very nice beach, it is called Wingaersheek, it is in Massachusetts and really beautiful, the view is amazing there, the water was very clean and shallow, it was perfect for the kids, who enjoyed `swimming` like alligators! And the sand was very fine and white, amazing! On Sunday we celebrated my husband`s and my father in law`s birthdays which are very close and we also celebrated the 40th wedding anniversary of my in laws, we ate a lot of cakes!! So I have to say we had a very special weekend, filled with fun and nice celebrations! This past week was busy, but we are enjoying the beautiful Summer and the hot weather, I am still loving it and the kids are enjoying the new inflatable pool that their grandparents got for them!

How did your week go and where did this week go?? Aurora was home from school and we have been very busy running errands, planning some activities for the weeks to come, organizing and hosting barbecues, she built a fairy garden in our yard and painted rocks too! We are planning on doing some fun activities in the weekend because the weather is supposed to be very nice and warm (then it will go back to rain for next week, but I try not to think about it too much!!).

Anyway, the week is over and we are all very excited for the weekend, because as I told you last week, we are going to host a big party in our back yard, it will be fun and almost everything is ready!

Anyway, the week is over and we are all very excited for the weekend, because as I told you last week, we are going to host a big party in our back yard, it will be fun and almost everything is ready!
Today I wanted to talk a little about women`s bathing suits, since Summer is fast approaching and I am very excited for it! Do you like to go to the beach? I love it, it is my absolute favorite Summer activity and it is not very far from where we live, so I always try to sneak in a trip to the beach in the weekend. I have to say that I don`t even like to go into the ocean, it is freezing here, my favorite thing would be to just lay in the sun, but since I had kids I realized that that activity was no longer allowed, or not for a long period of time, because I would get a guest jumping on my belly, or buckets of sand and water thrown at me! But I enjoy the beach anyway, I just watch the kids play, I will play with the sand with them and take pictures, I like to stroll along the beach or go on a shell hunt with them.
Back to the bathing suits: I have always enjoyed wearing bikinis, essentially because the one pieces were not really in and because they had me sweat so much! But after having three kids and especially after my twin pregnancy, my belly suffered a lot from the big stretch of the skin and has been left with extra skin, an humbilical hernia and diastasis recti (which is essentially a separation of the abs, which gives my belly a weird shape). All of this is fine, don`t get me wrong, but I realized that right now I feel better and more confident wearing a one piece swimsuit and I actually found some pretty cheap, cute ones that I wanted to share with you.
So, let`s start:
1-MESH INSERT BANDEAU ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT (TARGET $ 39.99):
I got this swimsuit last year and I still like it a lot. I tend to get bandeau swimsuits because I don`t like when I get a tan with stripes on the top part of my body. This swimsuit is very breezy because the mesh is very light and I don`t get too hot in it!
2-WOMEN CROCHET FLOUNCE BANDEAU ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT (TARGET $ 39.99):
I purchased this suit this year, not long ago, before our trip to Florida. I just wore it a couple of times but I really like it! I love the extra fabric on top, which creates a nice movement. The nice thing about this swimsuit is that it has rouches on the belly, so it conceals pretty well the extra weight that some moms carry in their mid section!
3-CROCHET TANKINI
I have to say, tankinis are not my favorite style, in fact this particular swimsuit is my least favorite, but I still like it. I can`t find the exact same as the one that I have at Target, but I found a similar one. I like the top because it doesn`t stick to my body: it has extra fabric that creates drapes on the belly area. I got a pair of very simple midrise bikini bottoms that work very well with it. I can`t find the same bikini bottom, but I found a very similar high rise option at Target.
4-ONE SHOULDER RUFFLE SWIMSUIT (AMAZON, $ 29.99):
I got this swimsuit this year too in April and tried it only once, but I love it! It is pretty inexpensive, the material seems good and thick and it comes in many many colors. It is on Amazon prime, so it should be delivered very fast if you are a Prime member. As you might have seen, all of the other bathing suits I got are in black, but with this I wanted to try a brighter color, so I went with the royal blue! The only thing is that the sizing is a little tricky and after I got a small one and exchanged it for a bigger size, it is still a little tight, so make sure to follow the measurements on the website.

I hope you had a great week and that you are getting ready for this weekend.
I enjoyed my week: I worked at the office almost every day and I was able to check many things off my to do list, today I might also be able to organize my closet, which is great, because it is a mess, believe me! With this crazy weather I have Summer clothes laying on the floor and all of my winter clothes still hanging around, because you never now if it is going to be Spring or Winter these days, do you feel me? Is this happening to you too? Anyway, I would like to at least organize the closet a little, so I don`t have to step on my clothes when I walk in it and I will not have to close the door in order not to witness the mess.
