My favorite tv series from Prime Video and Netflix

Good morning friends and happy Friday!

I hope you had a great weekend and week. I am sorry I did not publish my post last week, but the time slipped away from me and before I even realized it, it was Friday.

So, here is what happened to us in the last two weeks:

Two weeks ago we had a nice trip to New Hampshire to visit our good friends who got two beautiful kittens, the kids enjoyed playing with them! We also went raspberry and blueberry picking, we got a lot of good fruit and sweated a lot because it was very hot! It was a fun weekend. Last week went by so fast: Aurora was home with me, so we played a lot together, but I was also planning on cleaning and organizing some parts of my house. It did not go as I expected, but I am happy to report that I was able to clean and reorganize the fridge and freezer! I get very happy and weirdly satisfied when I am able to clean the corners of my house that I forgot about! My next step is the kitchen cabinets!

These past weeks have been a little stressful because I thought a lot about this pandemic and everything that has happened and also the reopening of the schools. I really don`t know what is going to happen and what could be the best thing for the kids. On one hand I know that they need to be with their friends to socialize and learn together, but I also see so many obstacles and situations that could pose a risk for everyone`s health. The conclusion is that I don`t have an answer and I will wait and see what happens in the next weeks/month.

What I usually do in order to manage my stress and anxiety is either read a book or watch a tv series or a movie at night before bed, so I thought that I would list the tv series that I recently watched. Here we go:

-Hannah (Amazon Prime video): this is a tv series on Amazon prime that was suggested to me by my friend Rossella. I started watching it with my husband not long ago and we are really enjoying it, we are at the end of Season 1. The story slowly unfolds through the episodes and it is very interesting. It will hook you from episode 1!

-Hunters (Amazon Prime video): this is another tv series on Prime and it has been suggested to me by Rossella (who is my official Amazon prime tv series guru!). My husband and I loved watching it because there was the historic part mixed with the action and mystery part. My husband did not like the end, I liked it! The series is about a group of Jews in NYC who decide to look for all the Nazi soldiers who escaped Germany and went to the US after WW2, in order to get them and kill them.

-Jack Ryan (Amazon Prime video): tv series on Amazon Prime which talks about a CIA agent trying to prevent a terrorist attack. Both me and my husband loved the two series and are impatiently waiting for Season 3.

-Upload (Amazon Prime video): tv series on Prime, we liked it a lot and can`t wait for Season number 2 to come. It is about a digital life after death.

-The ABC Murders (Amazon Prime video): another tv series that we really enjoyed. It is about a mystery solved by detective Poirot. The finale really surprised us!

-Suits (Amazon Prime video): This is a tv series that I watched by myself (my husband didn`t like it). It is about a group of successful lawyers. I liked it mainly for the  drama surrounding the lives of the characters!

-Carnival row (Amazon Prime video): I didn`t love this series until the last couple episodes, when it became more interesting to me. My husband loved it. It is about an investigator trying to find a serial killer in a fantastic world where fairies and other creatures live.

-Never have I ever (Netflix): nice tv series about an Indian high school girl who lost her dad and lives in California with her mom and cousin.  I loved the references to the Indian culture, even if I don`t know if they were accurate. It is a light story, very nice for those moments when you just want to relax.

-Riverdale (Netflix): I watched all the seasons because the plot was getting so weirdly impossible that I wanted to know where it would get. This tv series is about a group of teenage kids who live in this small town and are surrounded by unsolved crimes, murder and strange things happening on a daily basis!

I have a list of tv series that I want to watch next, like Outerbanks on Netflix, Anne with an E on Netflix, Arrested development (Netflix), Down to earth (Netflix), so I will be busy finding the perfect ones to suggest to you!

Have a great weekend and I will meet you here next week,

Anna
